I was elected to the Encinitas City Council in November 2006.
Community service is a family tradition I am proud to continue. My father, Bill Arballo was active in the incorporation of Del Mar and was its third mayor. He was also active in the effort to stop the widening of Hwy 101 that would have destroyed the beach communities from Leucadia to Del Mar. I believe we must strive to sustain our five communities’ unique and varied character through fair and equitable implementation of the general plan, fiscal prudence, and environmental stewardship, with respect to all members of the community. I represent the city of Encinitas on a number of regional boards including: • San Elijo Wastewater Treatment JPA - Board member |
