Since you first elected me in 2006, I have worked daily to deserve your trust and to keep my promises to support open government, community-sensitive development, environmental stewardship, and fiscal responsibility. 

It has not always been easy to be your voice at City Hall, but my actions have demonstrated my strong belief in government transparency and my determination to safeguard the public’s right to know.

Together we can maintain our five unique communities, protect our fragile environment and keep Encinitas a wonderful and safe place to live today and far into the future. 

As a third-generation resident of Coastal North County I know how fortunate we are to live here. Community service is a family tradition that I am proud to continue.
